This is one of my fave fruits... papaya! It's a rich source of antioxidants, means it helps us to prevent from getting "cancer".  I hate the word of cancer! who doesn't?

Papaya is also used to treat digestive disorders, so if you have problem with bloating or  indigestion, then this is the right fruit for you to consume!

And do you know that Papaya can prevent us from premature aging? wow! isn't it perfect?!

I love eating papaya, usually diced and sprinkled with sugar and some drops of lemon juice.. but I love it more to make it as smoothie and drink it in the day...

Pretty pink drink... I've been drinking this smoothie for the past 3days. Would be great to drink this healthy smoothie everyday...

Cool, fragrant and sweet..... it's a perfect refreshing drink after you jog or fitness

Preparation:
- 3 oranges
- 1/2 papaya
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 kaffir lime leaves
Direction:
Heat water with sugar and kaffir lime leaves until fragrant. Cut papaya to small size, add in the oranges juice and blend them in a processor with ice cubes. Pour into glass and add the sugar water to taste.

Kue Putu or Putu Bamboo is an Indonesian traditional cake, consists of palm sugar wrapped with rice flour... it's cooked by steaming it inside cuts of bamboo pipes which make a typical noisy sound just like when you boil water in the kettle, and that's what makes it unique. When it's getting hot, the  palm sugar burst out just like a melting lava.... yummy!

Desiccated coconut is sprinkled all over the Putu Bamboo....
It's easy to find this cake in my country, it's quiet cheap but it's only sold only at night.....

The dracaena leaves are the secret of how this cake's color turns pretty green

Preparations:
250gr rice flour
100ml water
2dracaena leaves
1/2tbs salt
175gr thinly sliced palm sugar
140gr desiccated coconut, steamed with salt to taste
Directions:
Boil the water, salt and dracaena leaves, then pick up and let it warm. Meanwhile, put rice flour in a big bowl then pour the dracaena water little by little while mixing by hand until smooth grains. Use a sieve with a large holes to shape the dough in fine gains. Now put a half spoon of the flour dough in a bamboo pipe, insert the palm sugar, then cover with half of flour dough, don't press! Use banana leave to cover the bottom of the bamboo pipe. Steam in medium heat for 20mins. Serve with sprinkles of salty desiccated coconut. God! what a delicious traditional dish! Yummy!!

Simple is always be my style in making foods or concocting drinks. I admit I'm not a good cook, neither an expert in the food's world. I just eat and drink what I want, sometimes in a restaurant, but sometimes I do cook at home for my own experiment... though the result is not always good (sigh). It just that there are always ingredients and concoctions running around inside my head, so I always try to make them come true on my dining table. And it's always a simple one, just like this drink, and it's not bad... it's really delicious fresh drink that can freeze your mind... well!

I love how the mint tastes  in this drink... very refreshing!

What you need:
- 1cup skim milk
- 1 tea bag
- 5tbs sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 3 mint leaves
- whip cream (optional)
- Ice Cream (optional)
- 2 cups ice cubes
Dissolve a bag of tea, 5tbs sugar and 3mint leaves with a cup of hot water. Then pour into a blender with the milk, and ice cubes. Blend them well. After that you can pour into a glass, add lemon's juice, add a scope of ice cream, I use strawberry flavor here. and top it with whip cream.

Exactly! Yes, North Lime Drink :) I named it so because drinking this beverage really cool me up and fantasies about North Pole. Cold, yes! and so fresh!

My mom planted lime tree in the front yard of our house. No there's no fruits growing yet but I like plucking the leaves for special purposes, like adding them to some drinks. They smell so fragrant!

Take three limes and squeeze them to get the juice, add a rock sugar to taste and dissolve with a little warm water. Then you can add in cold water, ice cubes and slices of lime and the leaves [optional].

Lots of ice cubes will let a penguin to jump from cube to cube ;)
