Ketupat is a packed rice that wrapped in a woven palm. It needs skills and patience to make the wraps. When it's done with the wraps, all you have to do is fill the wraps with some rice, wrap tightly and then boil them. As the rice cooks, the grains expand to fill the pouch and the rice becomes compressed. How awesome!
Ketupat is usually eaten with traditional dishes in Indonesia, like rendang, ketoprak or gado-gado.  And it's also served during special occasions such as Eid'l Fitr.
The making of Ketupat is continued from generation to generation, though not all young people could do it,lol

My best friend treated me for a cup of cold frozen yogurt at this cafe named SMOOCH. It was great,we-the buyers could take the yogurt themselves and picked up the topping as we liked, then the yogurt would get measured before we paid them.

Oh yes, pick me! pick me!

I loved the strawberry flavor with some peaches on top!!

Mmhh.. tasted so smooth, cold, fresh and sweet! Made me ask for more and more... yum!

Ragusa is a small cafe in Jl.Veteran 1 No.10, Jakarta. It's an Italian ice cream cafe that has been established since 1932. Its old building style makes it unique, and the home-made ice cream makes Ragusa so special with its tastes. When you enter the cafe, you will see some black and white photos hung on the wall. The chairs and everything are decorated in old style, bring us back to sense of colonial era. Ragusa serves sweet yummy ice creams like cassata siciiliana, tutty fruty and spaghetti ice cream. You better try it!

Those colors,oh mamamia.... there's a slice of cake in the ice cream!

a scoop of chocolate and mocha... tasted really sweet and greaatttt!

Outside the cafe, there are many food sellers with vendors and stalls.. it's a heaven where you can find delicious traditional food, yum!

This one is "otak-otak" that i bought in front of the cafe. Maybe i'll post more about this food next time :)

This is me with my workmates. Look at those empty plates! lol

Satisfied with the ice creams and the dishes, we're ready to leave this place and move to the next destination.
