Bebek Batavia

Batavia is another name for Jakarta, the capital city in Indonesia. This restaurant uses the name of bebek batavia, offers fried ducks as a main dish.

The restaurant is designed with traditional decorations. It feels like we're really at home in the village.

Bird's cage and the other decorations hung all over the wall and ceiling.

Bebek goreng sambel ijo or fried duck with green chili paste is a great offer from this restaurant. The taste of delicious crispy duck, mixed with a hot sensation of spicy green chili paste... yummyyyy

This one is Bebek goreng sambel korek or a simple fried duck with chili paste that made
 from bird's eye chili.

I would ask another plate for this one, yes i'm greedy! lol

 sambel korek... aka, chili paste

After those spicy dishes, it's good to enjoy this Iced Coconut... mmmmmmhhhhhhhhhh

Endy Daniel

Hi! I'm Endy {pronounced And-Dee in case you don't know how to call me}, an Indonesian woman (ppl always thought i'm a man) who loves Photography, Food & enjoys Graphic Design. I'm proud being as Indonesian, there're so many things about my country I'd love to share with all of you, from the cultures, traditional foods, beautiful places, to its pure friendly kind people. I Love visiting new villages in small towns to reveal the hidden places which mostly are beautiful and rarely known and touched by people from the big city.. there where I usually take my photographs at. I also love hanging out with my Mom, my nephews, and with my friends. I try to sample as many restaurants as possible, specially the traditional cheap one, but I also love to experiment cooking with my own recipes. My blog is a combination of Photography and Indonesian Heritage.

Where's My Fairy God Mother?
Indonesia, you can see people with jewelries and expensive cars here... but poverty is still there everywhere. The rich, the gaps, and the poor. This kid sells newspaper in the street.
I can see how he wish his life could change to a better one through his eyes.
